This fall, this Single Moms Group meets Wednesday evenings online via Zoom. The group meets on a weekly basis allowing single moms time to connect with others walking a similar journey and, together, seek what matters most. At each gathering, single moms can expect time to share, listen, laugh, and love while participating in relevant studies in a healthy, encouraging environment.

As the year progresses, the hope is to move the group back to physically meeting at Hope Church, but for the time being, we're grateful for the opportunity to utilize a platform that allows us to connect in this way.

In addition to the connection time that happens, this group will be going through the study entitled Better Together by Jill Savage. This study presents a compelling vision of motherhood and reveals how you can:

    • Increase your confidence in social settings when you stop the comparison game.
    • Combat isolation when you find or build a mothering community for mutual support.
    • Increase your joy as you discover you are truly a better mom when you don't mom alone.

To participate in this Single Moms Group, select the blue register button and complete the form. You will then receive a confirmation email with further group details. Please note, you only need to sign up once per school year, not each week.

If you have any questions or would like to make arrangements for a group participant to meet you on your first night, please reach out to us at groups@singleparentprovision.org. We can't wait to have you join us!

Have you ever wondered what would happen to your child(ren) if something happened to you?

If you were injured and couldn't make decisions for yourself, who would? While someone may come to mind, have you taken the legal steps necessary to give them the authority to do so, and what are those legal steps?

What should and shouldn't be a part of your will?

Single parents are invited to attend this workshop and find answers to these questions and many more from experts in the field of estate planning and family law. Attendees will walk away with a better understanding of terms, differences between various documents, and a game plan to make sure these important topics are carried out as intended.

Registration is required and closes October 15 or when all available spots have filled. Those registered by October 1 will be entered to win a $20 gift card!

Scholarships are available and can be requested by emailing workshops@singlparentprovision.org.

    Childcare and light refreshments provided.

Special Note: Reasonable social distancing measures will be in place. Masks are welcomed but not required. Childcare volunteers may or may not be wearing a mask.

In addition to the connection time that happens, this group will be going through the study entitled Get Out of Your Head by Jennie Allen. This study identifies the destructive thoughts and toxic thinking that can flood our minds and how to escape that downward spiral by equipping us to transform our emotions, outlook, and even circumstances by taking control of our thoughts.

To participate in this Single Moms Group, select the blue register button and complete the form. You will then receive a confirmation email with further group details and information about how to connect. Please note, you only need to sign up once per school year, not each week.

If you have any questions, please reach out to us at groups@singleparentprovision.org. We can't wait to have you join us!

As the year progresses, the hope is to move the group back to physically meeting at Valley Church, but for the time being, we're grateful for the opportunity to utilize a platform that allows us to connect in this way.

    • Increase your confidence in social settings when you stop the comparison game.
    • Combat isolation when you find or build a mothering community for mutual support.
    • Increase your joy as you discover you are truly a better mom when you don't mom alone.
