Last year, Single Parent Provision served 2,844 single parents and children through the commitment of six staff, seven board members, 689 volunteers, 365 donors, dozens of church partners and supporters, and over 100 businesses. We are humbled and so thankful to, together, be playing such a meaningful role in the lives of single parent families in central Iowa. When doors started closing this past spring, life as we knew it seemed to be on hold, but God's response was not! Our focus has always been about supporting single parents as they carry out a tall order, and when we make a meaningful connection with them via a face-to-face meeting, phone call, email, text, care package, card, or other means of direct interaction, we consider it a touch point. In a time of social distancing, we are in awe that God has allowed such incredible points of connection to transpire! Our Annual Campaign is in full swing and will continue through July. While we accept donations and financial support throughout the year, our Annual Campaign is a time of concentrated effort to raise the funds needed to serve single parent families all year long.
