We are excited to announce a SPECIAL BREAK TIME being held on February 17th with the Iowa State Football Team! Bring your kids to hang out, play games, eat dinner, and have FUN with a group of ISU Football players and coaches while you get some extra time to yourself. We are excited about this partnership and their enthusiasm to serve in this way and know it is going to be an extra-special Break Time for your kiddos.
Break Time will take place at the Valley Community Center in West Des Moines. This free Single Parent Provision signature program is designed for children to experience a loving, safe, and fun environment while single parents have uninterrupted time to run errands, finish chores, study, or simply have some personal time to recharge. At Break Time children will enjoy a fun evening of activities, games, a meal, and crafts. All of the extraordinary volunteers who make Break Time possible undergo background checks and are well equipped and enthusiastic about engaging with the children who attend.
