Single Moms Group - Woodland Hills

This Single Moms Group meets Wednesday evenings at Woodland Hills Church of Christ in Pleasant Hill. The group meets on a weekly basis, September through May*, allowing single moms time to connect with others walking a similar journey and, together, seek what matters most. At each gathering, single moms can expect time to share, listen, laugh, and grow while participating in relevant studies in a healthy, encouraging environment.

Study: In addition to the connection time that happens, this group will be going through the study, Uninvited: Living Loved When You Feel Less Than, Left Out, and Lonely by Lysa TerKeurst. Rejection often finds its way into our hearts and leave wounds that dig deep into our sense of self, and can resurface in surprising ways. The author will take you by the hand as a trusted friend and help you enter a place of powerful healing and new perspective. Uninvited is the beautiful reminder you need to believe you are destined for a love that can never be diminished, tarnished, shaken, or taken - a love that does not reject or uninvite.

Everyone is welcome to begin the evening at 6:00PM with a brief worship service (optional), followed by dinner for moms and their children from 6:20-7:00PM with moms then meeting from 7:00-8:00PM. 

Children and youth programming happens during the group meeting time and is provided through Woodland Hills Church of Christ. IGNITE is available for youth 6th through 12th grade. SPARKS programming is available for children 1st through 5th grade.
