Single Moms Group - Fellowship
This Single Moms Group meets Wednesday evenings at Fellowship Community Church in Norwalk. The group meets on a weekly basis, September through April*, allowing single moms time to connect with others walking a similar journey and, together, seek what matters most. At each gathering, single moms can expect time to share, listen, laugh, and grow while participating in relevant studies in a healthy, encouraging environment.
Study: In addition to connection time that happens, this group will be going through the study, The Dream of You by Jo Saxton. Let’s be honest, the life you lead isn’t what you’ve always dreamt. And maybe the person you’ve become isn’t who you’ve always imagined. Sure, you can clean it up. You can work longer, love harder, and eat better. You can scrub the surface of your life until it gleams and still never address the fact that somehow you lost sight of who you really are and what you’re living for. Is this the life you were meant to live? The author examines biblical figures and shares her own story as she invites you to turn to the One who knows you and loves you deeply. He sees all you’ve struggled to hide and knows the potential and purpose no one valued. He longs to redeem the story of you and set you on the path to reclaim the dream of you.
Dinner is provided for moms and their children from 6:00-6:20PM with moms then meeting from 6:30-8:00PM.
Children programming happens during the group meeting time through Fellowship Community Church. AWANA programming is available for kids 5th grade and under.
