Beginning June 11th and continuing each Thursday throughout the summer, Single Parent Provision will be offering a Single & Parenting Class at the Eastview Community Center in Des Moines. This class will present Biblical truths and practical strategies for parenting without the presence of a second parent in the home. Dinner will be provided from 5:00-5:30, and the class will run 5:30-7:00.

Child care for children not yet in kindergarten is available from one of our extraordinary volunteers. In a unique partnership with Freedom for Youth (FFY), kids in kindergarten through fifth grade can register for FFY's Sonshine Kidz program meeting the same time as the Single & Parenting Class. Children will receive dinner as well.

This class is a valuable tool for all single parents. There is a $15 fee for the workbook, however scholarships are available. Single parents, consider registering, and others, consider sharing news of it with a single parent in your network of friends.
