2021 SMCD: Men's Usher & Serving Team

Registration

  • To register as a volunteer, select this option.
  • To register as a volunteer and cover the cost of a volunteer background check, select this option.
  • To register as a volunteer, cover the cost of a volunteer background check, and provide a Christmas gift for one of the attending single moms, select this option.
  • To register as a volunteer and become a Family Sponsor, providing the entirety of this event for one single mother and her children, select this option.

Men (a minimum of 18 years of age) a part of the Usher & Serving Team will be responsible for welcoming and escorting the moms from the entrance of the program room to their seat at the dinner tables. In this role, you will also be assigned tables to serve the meal and keep beverages filled. In addition, you will assist with distributing prizes, game supplies, and the parting gift bags during the program. At the conclusion of the evening, you will pack up the table decorations from the tables in which you served.

    

         

Each person in your household who would like to serve the night of the event in any role and who is 18 or older will need to complete the registration process. Teens not accompanied by an adult must also complete a volunteer registration. Children and youth who will be accompanied by an adult can be included with an adult registration; during the sign up process you may designate if that child will be a volunteer or a participant. Please note than any youth planning to volunteer will be placed in a 5th grade childcare room or younger to do so.

Specific details about where and when to meet and other important information will be included in the confirmation email you will receive upon registering. With the exception of the set-up team, all serving areas require a background check be performed. The link to complete this will also be included in the confirmation email.

Dinner will be provided for all volunteers.
